Stoneware Fired Pot

For the slab pot below I used Mayco White glaze FN-001, but fired to stoneware at 1280 degrees. The clay is BRT. I like this combination because the fleck from the clay comes through the glaze when fired to stoneware temperature.

      • I’m currently hooked on a glaze called Randy’s Red . . . I use it as a dip in our pottery studio, which is in a recreation center. However, I think it’s very close to Amaco’s Ancient Jasper glaze.

It would look fantastic on this clay body I think.
