Making Cushion Cover from Hessian Coffee Bean Bags!

One of my favourite coffee houses is Belaroma in Manly Vale. This is where you go if you want ‘serious’ coffee on the northern beaches of Sydney. BUT the other reason I like going their is to pick up a bunch of hessian coffee bean bags for a whole $2.00! They normally have them sitting in piles at the back in their warehouse near the car park. Then I hand them over to my lovely sister-in-law Cheryl and mother-in-law Janice who convert them into industrial style cushion covers. Cheryl creates the design and Janice does the washing and sewing. This is one of their latest cushions that they gave me, which I love. If anyone is interested in buying an original handmade cushion like this you can contact Cheryl via email – mysweetretrolife@hotmail.com
